Resident praises community effort put into Thrumster's festive lights

A Thrumster resident sent in a selection of images to highlight her appreciation of the colourful displays of Christmas lights in the village.

Octavia Griffiths calls Thrumster "the small village with a big heart" and has praised all in the community who have helped light up the dark December nights with "a wonderful" display of Christmas lights.

Octavia said: "People in the community have come together to erect the wonderful tree on the half circle, along with the lights and decorations, which looks amazing.

"People that live in the community have also put on a wonderful display of lights. It's such a lovely place to live, with such amazing community spirit. From everyone in Thrumster and Sarclet, we wish you all a Merry Christmas."
