Officers are appealing for the assistance of the public to trace 66-year-old Christine Spencer, who has been missing from her home in Scarfskerry, Caithness since Monday, August 2.

Last seen in Wick on Monday, 2 August, Christine is described as white, 5'2" in height, with short dyed brown hair and blue eyes. It is not known what she is wearing. She has not been in touch with any family or friends now for almost a week which is of concern.

"From our enquiries so far, it is thought that she may have travelled to Edinburgh and possibly further south to England but we have still to confirm this.

"Anyone with any information about Christine's whereabouts is urged to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 1848 of Sunday, 8 August, 2021.

"We would also ask Christine herself to get in touch as soon as she can. We all just want to make sure she is safe and well."
