Remembering the animals at Groats event





A Remembrance Sunday event organised by the John O’Groats Trust (JOGT) included a wreath for animals killed in wars.

JOGT organised a small ceremony and wreath laying at the famous Groats signpost at 3pm Sunday. In addition to the traditional tributes, Carole Whittaker laid a purple wreath to remember the animal casualties of war.
