Members of Wick and District Gardening Club enjoyed a talk on recycling at their monthly meeting in the Nethercliffe Hotel on Tuesday.

Guest speakers were Highland Council waste management officer Kenny Gow and waste awareness assistant Andrea Wotherspoon. Their talk was followed by a question-and-answer session.

Club secretary Virginia Miller presented Bunty Oliphant with the Walker Trophy which she had won for her entry into the pumpkin competition at the October meeting.

Tea and coffee was served and the raffle drawn.

The club's next meeting is the Christmas lunch on December 20.
