THURSO Rotary Club had its annual Fun Day recently with a record 37 competitors taking part in a series of indoor fun games.

In attendance were members of the Monday Club and Enable Caithness as well as people from Thor House, Key Housing and the Pentland Housing sheltered complex, along with former Grant Street care home residents and former residents of Forse House.

They all had an exciting afternoon in Thurso's Royal British Legion club trying out many games followed by a delicious afternoon tea and finishing with a prize-giving at which all taking part received medals.

The Enable branch chairman, Councillor Willie Mackay, was full of praise for the Fun Day. He said it was the largest in recent times and thanked Thurso Rotary Club for organising such an enjoyable annual event.
