RBS branch in Wick faces closure

WICK is one of 62 Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) branches across the country that is facing closure.

RBS is set to close one in four branches across Scotland next year with the loss of 165 jobs.

Unite Scotland said it has been informed by RBS of its plans which include the closure of the Wick branch on Bridge Street on May 17.

The RBS branch at Olrig Street in Thurso is not on the list of planned closures.
