Pyrography is hot topic at Latheron SWI

Latheron SWI president Carol Grant welcomed members to the December meeting and introduced Joy Jackson and Alison Stewart who had come along for the evening.

Mrs Grant then introduced Michael McNulty and his wife Anne, who had come along to demonstrate pyrography, the art of decorating wood with burn marks. He gave a short history of pyrography, which has been in existence since as far back as the Chinese Han Dynasty.
