Jack brought along his varied collection of puppets which pupils were amazed to discover he had hand-made. The children learned about different types of puppets and were then given the opportunity to make their own sock puppets.

P1-3 pupils made jungle animals whilst P4-7 created aliens to coincide with their space topic.

Following this, the children worked in small groups to devise short sketches featuring their puppets which they then performed in front of their peers.

Class teacher Amanda Mackay said: “The staff and pupils would like to thank Jack very much for a most innovative and enjoyable learning experience.”
