Pupils and staff at Wick's Noss Primary School have been praised for the way they responded to the impact of the pandemic over the past academic year.

Head teacher Edith Coghill also paid tribute to the “huge efforts” made by pupils' families in adjusting to online learning.

“We were able to have our end-of-year-prize-giving, albeit from separate classrooms online,” Mrs Coghill said.

“Congratulations to not just the prize-winners but all our pupils and staff who managed to overcome yet more challenges due to the second lockdown after the Christmas holidays.

“Families made huge efforts supporting their children with online learning and are sincerely thanked for their support.

“We wish our P7 pupils all the very best for Wick High School and beyond.”
