Pulteneytown church holiday club set for week of fun
The popular holiday club run by Pulteneytown and Thrumster Church in Wick's Argyle Square is gearing up for a week of fun from Monday, August 7.
The holiday club is a firm favourite with families, and already more than 60 children have been registered. As well as morning sessions from Monday to Friday featuring arts and crafts, Bible stories, songs and more, there are afternoon activities planned for the Tuesday afternoon and a trip to Dunnet Forest and beach on the Saturday afternoon.
To end the week, children are invited to bring their families and friends to a big celebration at 7pm on Sunday 13th, to share what they have been up to.
Anne Temple, one of the volunteers, said: “The action-packed holiday club has taken place every year since the 1980s with only a break due to Covid. It’s fantastic to see parents who attended the club themselves now bringing their own children along.
"It is a very special week in the town’s events.”

Online registration for the holiday club is open until 5pm on Wednesday, August 2. The form can be accessed from the church’s Facebook page or on www.pulteneytownchurch.org.uk
Registration is also available on Monday, August 7. Children who are due to start P2 to P7 after the summer holidays are welcome to register – the cost for the week is £10.
