Wick High School held its prize-giving ceremony, with high-achieving pupils recognised for their work over the past academic year.
Former MSP Gail Ross, now head of communications at Dounreay, was the guest speaker.
Rachel Swanson was the Wick High School Dux and she also received the Kevin Costello Memorial Award for Endeavour in Science.
