Presentation night for indoor bowling winners at Wick

There was a presentation night at Wick’s Assembly Rooms this week for all the indoor bowling prize winners throughout the season.

On Monday night, the Wick Indoor Bowling Club hosted the special event with the awards being organised by Norman and Mary Macleod and presented by Carol Sinclair.

The club and men’s champion was James Swanson and the ladies’ champion was Fiona Henderson.

The county league is played between indoor bowling club teams from Wick, Watten, Pulteney, Halkirk, Thurso Weigh Inn, Thurso Royal British Legion, and Dunbeath.

Wick Indoor also won the county league which is played throughout the winter.
