Pond-dipping fun for families at John O'Groats Mill

Families are being invited to take part in some pond dipping at the John O'Groats Mill on Saturday, August 27.

High Life Highland's countryside rangers are looking for help to record any species found, which they say will be important information for the John O'Groats Mill Trust to help understand the biodiversity at the site.

All equipment is provided but people are asked to wear wellies or old shoes. No booking is required and children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

The event takes place from 11am to 1pm.
