POLL: Should relatives be vaccinated prior to visiting Caithness care homes?
After one of the UK's largest care providers has said visitors will need to vaccinated prior to coming into its homes, we want to know what our readers think.
Barchester – one of the UK's largest care providers which operates Seaview House in Wick and Pentland View in Thurso – has written to families to say it's "current thinking" is that the two designated visitors, who will be able to make visits to homes from early March, must be able to provide proof they have had the Covid-19 vaccination.
What do you think?
Tell us in the poll below.
Will it offer greater protection to those people who are in homes? Will the proposed rule limit the numbers of people who can visit the home? Are younger visitors, who are less likely to have their vaccine, being excluded?
