Police warning to Caithness residents over counterfeit currency





Anyone who comes across a counterfeit banknote is being asked to contact Thurso Police Station.
Anyone who comes across a counterfeit banknote is being asked to contact Thurso Police Station.

A NUMBER of reports have been received by police about counterfeit currency being found in Caithness.

In particular, these relate to Bank of England £20 and £50 notes.

The public is being asked to be vigilant and to report any incidents to Thurso Police Station on 01847 893222.
