Police update on Thurso fatality





POLICE Scotland has updated its information on the body of a man found in Thurso last Thursday.

Formal identification and the results of a post mortem have now been concluded after recovery of the deceased from the Millbank Road area of the town at around 1.35pm on Thursday, July 2.

In a statement released last night a Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We can confirm that the body has been identified as Adam Pritchard (39) from Thurso and that the death is not being treated as suspicious. Relatives are aware."

Mr Pritchard had been reported missing on the evening of Tuesday, June 30, and the cause of death was initially treated as "unexplained".
