POLICE are appealing for information regarding the theft of traffic cones and work signs from a construction site at Wick.

The theft occurred about 8:25pm on Monday night at West Banks Avenue, when it is suspected a white Ford Transit van with a white cage attached to the back may have been involved in the matter.

Three persons were seen within the vehicle, two of whom were believed to be wearing fluorescent yellow jackets or waistcoats at the time.
