UP to eight police officers were witnessed attending the scene of an incident in Wick in the early hours of Thursday.

Two ambulances were also reported to have attended the scene of a disturbance in the town's Cairndhuna Terrace.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police were called to a report of a disturbance at a property on Cairndhuna Terrace in Wick around 4.10am on Thursday, December 19.

"A 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a breach on an anti-social behaviour order."

The spokesperson said that a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal and the man is expected to appear at Wick Sheriff Court on Friday.
