Police Scotland officers in the Highlands 'increasingly concerned' for welfare of missing man; Eddie Macgregor was last seen in Thurso, Caithness
POLICE looking for a missing man in Caithness are 'increasingly concerned' for his welfare after he failed to return home amid ongoing stormy weather.
Officers have appealed for information to help trace Eddie Macgregor (27), who was last seen in Thurso.
The last sighting of him was at 8.10pm on Thursday (November 17) when he was spotted on the B874 road at the Glengolly junction. He was seen on foot at the time and heading in the direction of the woodland section of Glengolly.
He is described as six foot tall with short black hair.
“We are growing increasingly concerned for Eddie following him failing to return home last night and the recent inclement weather in the area," said a police spokesman.
"We would appeal to anyone who knows where he is to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting 3162 of 18 November, 2022.”
