Are you from Caithness and fancy becoming a cop?

Police Scotland is actively seeking to recruit “good quality and eligible” candidates who specifically want to live and work in the far north area.

Applications are being invited for police constable/special constable entry in future intakes during 2023 and 2024.

Staff from the force’s recruitment north team, together with the local policing team will be holding an online briefing event on Wednesday next week (September 27) between 6pm and 8pm.

Prospective candidates will be offered useful hints and tips regarding the recruitment process, from completion of the application form and sitting the entrance test to fitness assessment and content of the assessment day, along with information about the medical and vetting stages.

Candidates will be able to speak to a recruitment officer who will answer any queries during the event.

Those who wish to register for the briefing should make contact email recruitmentpoliceofficerevents@scotland.police.uk giving their address, full name, age, contact telephone number and email address.
