Police 'extremely concerned' for wellbeing of missing man

Police are appeal for help to track down a missing man who is believed to have travelled to Caithness on Christmas Day.

Roderick Augusto (43) has been reported missing from the Carlisle area.

His vehicle has been found in the Dunnet Head area.

He is described as white, of slim athletic build and is bald.

Anyone who recognises Roderick or has information on his whereabouts is urged to contact police.

Sergeant Jonny Wilkin said: "We are extremely concerned for Roderick’s wellbeing, especially as he has not been seen or heard from for over a week.

“We are appealing for anyone who recognises Roderick or has information regarding his whereabouts to please come forward.

“We would also urge Roderick to please get in touch with someone to confirm that he is OK.”

Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 1593 of Thursday, January 5, 2023.
