Police were sighted back on Glamis Road in Wick a few days after a major incident involving armed officers.

On Sunday, police, ambulance and fire service personnel descended on the street in numbers and a 42-year-old man was arrested who now faces nine charges.

At 3pm yesterday (May 23), police were seen at an address on Glamis Road and an ambulance was also in attendance.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said that officers attended to assist the ambulance service following “concern for a female”. She was later taken to hospital for treatment, it was stated.
