On Wednesday June 28, the Wick High School (WHS) PE department held a special assembly to recognise the "hard work and great effort" from all those involved in its sports day.

A WHS spokesperson said there were lots of group winners and some excellent individual achievements. "Congratulations to the PE department for an excellent assembly and a well organised series of sports days," added the spokesperson.

The WHS house sports trophy was won by Noss.
