The annual Tipsy Tea Party organised by MS People Caithness raised £2320 as stylish guests turned out in their finery with an impressive array of hats and fascinators.

The prize for the most eye-catching item of headwear went to Marie Yendall.

The event in the Norseman Hotel, Wick, had a fun atmosphere throughout with cocktails, afternoon tea and singing from Lisa Douglas and Clare Center. The dance floor was never empty and many raffle prizes were on offer.

Guests also had the opportunity to have their photos taken with a beautiful wreath made by local florist Jan Sutherland featuring the MS colours.

One of the organisers, Elaine Miller, said: “We are thrilled by everyone’s generosity, and it is great to raise awareness as there are many families locally affected.

“All funds stay local. We offer financial assistance, and support, to families affected by MS.”
