Pupils at Miller Academy Primary and ELC in Thurso celebrated Red Nose Day in style on Friday.

Many of the colourful pupils dressed up in superhero costumes and the school raised more than £250 for Comic Relief on the day.

Head teacher Jacqui Budge said: “Our parents are superb at supporting us and so many of our children were dressed up today either as a superhero or in red!

"It was so lovely to see them all and due to their generous cash donations we raised £256 for charity.

"We are especially grateful to our parents as they’ve also been so very generous donating this week to our Ukraine fundraising too.”
