Children dressed up and dressed down at Miller Academy in Thurso last week, all in aid of a very good cause.

The school went on a super colourful fundraising drive in aid of Children in Need on Friday.

Head teacher Jacqui Budge said: "Through parents' very generous donations, our P5 girls raised £36.45 by selling their bracelets at tuck time, our ELC (early learning centre) raised £70.05 and our school raised £269.35, which altogether totals an impressive £375.85!

"We are, as always, so very grateful for the excellent support that our families give us and it was lovely to see what our children had made and learned about this.”
