PICTURES: Caithness Music Festival winners looking forward to Monday evening concert
The 2022 Caithness Music Festival is drawing to a close, with those who finished top in their respective classes looking forward to the winners' concert in Wick Assembly Rooms on Monday evening.
Convener Marjory Richard has been delighted with the efforts of contestants as well as volunteer helpers in the first festival since before the pandemic.
Mrs Richard said it had been a "magic" week and she is hoping that even more competitors will be inspired to take part in 2023.
"I really hope that this encourages youngsters to come back next year, and even more if they tell all their friends," she said.
"The teachers are so enthusiastic as well, so it has got to keep on going."
