Balmore animal home residents Tom and Elvis are described as a "lap cats" who are looking for a home together.
The furry friends are currently being cared for by the Scottish SPCA (SSPCA) Caithness and Sutherland Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre at Balmore.
"This pair are closely bonded and want to find their forever home together," says a centre spokesperson. "Tom is the more confident of the two, but Elvis can be very affectionate once he gets to know you.
"These two are definitely lap cats who love attention. They would like to be the only pets in the household. They will require outdoor access and would be best suited to a quiet area where they can potter around and explore."

Can you give an animal a loving home? Every year the SSPCA’s Caithness and Sutherland Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre at Balmore, near Thurso, provides a safe haven for all sorts of animals that have nowhere else to go. This can be for a variety of reasons – abuse, abandonment, death of their owner or even the simple fact their owner is no longer able to look after them.
While they’re loved at the Caithness and Sutherland centre, the staff want just one thing for the animals in their care – for them to find a loving forever home. If you think you’re that person and have room in your life for a pet, visit: scottishspca.org/rehome/rehome
All rehoming is taking place online at the moment.
