Fire crew investigated Tesco petrol station on Friday afternoon.

TESCO petrol station has been closed off to the public after smoke was seen coming from the forecourt.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service reported fire crew from Wick arrived at 3:20pm and investigated at the scene after smoke was spotted.

A spokesman for the fire service said crew have been sent to the scene as a precaution but said it is not believed to be a major problem.
