Pet of the Week: SPCA Caithness and Sutherland Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre
Blue is a sensitive dog looking for his forever family.
Currently being cared for by the Scottish SPCA Caithness and Sutherland Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre, Blue is looking for an experienced new owner who will be at home most of the time, as he has separation anxiety.
He loves to play and he can spend hours chasing squeaky toys around the garden. He is quite laid back and walks well on the lead but really comes out of his shell when toys are involved. Blue is a typical hound and is equally happy curled up in his cosy bed.
He would suit a quiet, adult-only home with no cats or small animals due to his high prey drive. He could potentially live with other dogs following successful introductions at the centre.
Blue is a tall lad who can jump pretty high so he will need a garden with a high fence or wall.
If you can give Blue his new home, please apply via the Scottish SPCA website
Every year the Scottish SPCA’s Caithness and Sutherland Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre at Balmore, near Thurso, provides a safe haven for all sorts of animals that have nowhere else to go.
This can be for a variety of reasons – abuse, abandonment, death of their owner or even the simple fact their owner is no longer able to look after them.
While they’re loved at the Caithness and Sutherland centre, the staff want just one thing for the animals in their care – for them to find a loving forever home. All rehoming is taking place online at the moment. If you think you’re that person and have room in your life for a pet see here
