Kong is friendly ferret looking for a new home. He is currently being cared for by the Scottish SPCA Caithness and Sutherland Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre.

Kong is an outgoing and sociable ferret who enjoys getting out of his enclosure to explore – and to play in his favourite ball pit!

He came to the Scottish SPCA as a stray, and so the society know very little about his background. He is happy to be handled and likes to play around staff’s feet as they clean his enclosure.

Kong is unfazed by his ferret neighbours at the centre, and could potentially live with other ferrets after careful introduction. He will need a large enclosure with lots of space and enrichment activities so that he can have plenty of room to exercise and have fun.

Can you give an animal a loving home? Every year the Scottish SPCA’s Caithness and Sutherland Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre at Balmore, near Thurso, provides a safe haven for all sorts of animals that have nowhere else to go. This can be for a variety of reasons – abuse, abandonment, death of their owner or even the simple fact their owner is no longer able to look after them.

While they’re loved at the Caithness and Sutherland centre, the staff want just one thing for the animals in their care – for them to find a loving forever home.

All rehoming is taking place online at the moment.
