Plans have been put forward to Highland Council for a pet crematorium facility to be sited near Wick.

The proposal by Steven Nicolson from Sibster is for the "change of use of part of an agriculture field to a site for a pet crematorium with parking provision for two vehicles".

"Two shipping containers on site one will hold the incinerator and the other for storage," states the planning proposal.
