A BYGONE age in newspapers is captured here as Alistair Campbell operates one of the five linotype machines which were used to produce the Caithness Courier and John O’Groat Journal. Mr Campbell worked at our base in Wick between 1973 and 1986.

Anne Mcphee, of Mackay Street, Castletown submitted this shot of her late father during a visit by a group of school girls she thinks were from Thurso.
