Party time for Reay and Thurso Beaver Colonies

Beaver Scouts in Thurso and Reay were treated to special Halloween parties and had the chance to dress up in ghoulish costumes.

Sandra Carson and Ian Pearson, the local Beaver Scout leaders, organised "a double Halloween party" in two locations, one day after the other.

First up was 2nd Thurso Beavers quickly followed by Reay Beavers the following day. As Ian explained: "The Halloween parties were planned to enjoy a difference but in actual fact all Beavers in both Beaver Colonies played the same games and had as much fun as possible.

"In reality, everyone was dressed up so we couldn’t tell the difference between a Thurso Beaver and a Reay Beaver."
