People in Scotland affected by multiple sclerosis (MS) are being invited to join a virtual peer support event with gold medal-winning Paralympic swimmer Stephanie Millward.

Hosted by MS Society Scotland’s Wellbeing Hub, the event, which takes place on Tuesday, September 13 from 6pm to 7pm, will focus on how peer support can benefit people diagnosed with a long-term health condition.

Volunteers from the charity’s peer support service will talk about their roles and Stephanie will answer questions about her experience of living with MS.

Go to www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/a-conversation-about-peer-support-tickets-392431772997 for more information and to register.

She has won a total of 10 Paralympic medals for swimming – including two golds at Rio 2016 for 100m backstroke and 100m team relay.
