Online directory aims to help people in the Highlands during coronavirus pandemic
An online directory including activities, advice and help available for people in the Highlands has been created in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
Marketing, communications and events company Planit Scotland has set up Highland Covid-19 highlandcovid-19.co.uk to offer information such as mental health tips, detailed help available and activities that can be done in isolation.
Cecilia Grigor, managing director of Planit Scotland, said the project will give people somewhere to go for peace of mind and support.
“The team at Planit have skills and knowledge that are second to none when it comes to marketing and communications so, at a time of crisis, Planit has pulled this project together for the people of the Highlands," she said.
"It is not Planit Scotland’s intention to sell our own services.
"The Highland Covid-19 project was created to keep the Highlands communicating – and, as we all know, communication is key in times of need.”
She said community spirit was more important than ever before and the directory provided a space for people to be a community while being encouraged to isolate themselves.
All services listed are free to the audience.
Businesses and individuals offering special services in light of the coronavirus emergency that are of interest or support to the Highland public should contact the company via its social media pages, or by emailing highlandcovid-19@planitscotland.com
