THREE fire crews were in attendance at a one vehicle road traffic collision in east Caithness.

Emergency services were notified of the accident at 7.52am at Bruan near Lybster.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service reported fire crews from John O'Groats and Wick along with a community response unit from Lybster attended the scene.

An SFRS spokeswoman said the causalty did not need assistance from fire crews to leave the vehicle.

No other information is available at present.
