A Kirkcaldy pensioner has appeared at a north court accused of possession of indecent images in Caithness.

Alan Harrison made no plea to the charge during his appearance on petition, in private, at Wick Sheriff Court on Tuesday.

The 66-year-old was granted bail by Sheriff Ian Miller, pending further inquiry.

The offence is alleged to have occurred at John O' Groats, in October 2022.
