No new Covid-19 cases recorded in NHS Highland area for fourth day in a row

There have been no additional confirmed cases of coronavirus in the NHS Highland area in the past 24 hours, the latest figures show.

It means the region has had no new recorded cases for four days in a row.

The total recorded by NHS Highland remains at 374. The number of people being treated in hospital with confirmed Covid-19 in the region is six, while the number of people in intensive care is still fewer than five.

Fifteen people have tested positive across the Scotland in the last 24 hours, taking the national total to 18,228.

And 2482 people who tested positive have died across the country since the outbreak began – the same figure as yesterday.

NHS Grampian has had 1418 recorded cases. Its hospitals were treating 46 people for the disease, with fewer than five receiving treatment in intensive care.
