NHS Highland area goes 24 hours without any further positive coronavirus tests
NO fresh positive tests for Covid-19 were recorded in the NHS Highland area in the past 24 hours.
The health board's number of confirmed cases of coronavirus remained static at 378 when the Scottish Government published its latest daily update at 2pm.
It came against a backdrop of seven new positive tests across Scotland as a whole – a rate that was lower than recent 24-hour figures.
There have now been 18,452 positive tests for Covid-19 across Scotland since the beginning of the pandemic.
Of those, 2491 people have subsequently died. However, there were no new fatalities in the past 24 hours.

Elsewhere in the north of Scotland there were no fresh positive tests for the virus in Orkney, Shetland, the Western Isles or Grampian.
Nationally, there were 299 people being treated in hospital for confirmed Covid-19 last night – down three from the same point the previous day.
Three of those 299 cases were receiving treatment in intensive care. A further seven people with suspected Covid-19 were also in intensive care last night.
