Highland police issue fresh photograph in appeal over man believed to have travelled to Caithness on Christmas Day amid 'extreme concern' for wellbeing

POLICE in the Highlands have shared another image of a 43-year-old man who has not been seen or heard from in over a week.

Roderick Augusto (43) is believed to have travelled to Caithness on Christmas Day.

He has been reported missing from the Carlisle area.

His vehicle has been found in the Dunnet Head area on Caithness.

He is described as white, of slim athletic build and is bald.

Anyone who recognises Roderick or has information on his whereabouts is urged to come forward.

Sergeant Jonny Wilkin of Thurso Police Office, said: "We are extremely concerned for Roderick’s wellbeing, especially as he has not been seen or heard from for over a week.

“We are appealing for anyone who recognises Roderick or has information regarding his whereabouts to please come forward.

“We would also urge Roderick to please get in touch with someone to confirm that he is ok.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 1593 of Thursday, 5 January, 2023.
