Lossie second half treble sinks Rothes
LOSSIEMOUTH jumped back up to eighth in the Highland League thanks to a second half scoring blitz at Grant Park.
After a goalless opening 45 minutes against visitors Rothes, Lossie took the lead seven minutes after the restart through Colin Charlesworth.
Ross Archibald made it 2-0 in the 65th minute as Charlie Charlesworth's men took control of the game.
And Archibald completed the scoring with his second of the night 12 minutes from the end.
The result saw Lossie leapfrog Deveronvale and Wick Academy in the table.
In the other games on the night, Deveronvale crashed 5-2 at Nairn County, a result which saw the home side cement third place in the league.
Clach continued their good form with a 5-0 demolition of Brora Rangers in Inverness.
