You can help support the Macmillan Biggest Coffee Morning

Macmillan Cancer Support are inviting Northern Times' readers to take part in their World’s Biggest Coffee Morning on September 30.

Just get together with friends or colleagues and enjoy cakes and a cuppa - a very enjoyable way of helping them raise the £8.5m needed to reach more people affected by cancer.

The money you raise will help Macmillan fund specialist nurses, new cancer centres and grants to support people living with cancer who have financial problems.

Coffee morning officially takes place on Friday 30 September, but if you can’t make that day, why not hold your event at another time?

Whether you’d prefer to organise a glamorous coffee-themed evening, serve up smoothies or host a herbal tea party, that’s up to you. All that matters is that you take part and help make this year’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning the biggest ever!
