Police seek missing Tain woman

Police are searching for a 59-year-old Tain woman who has been reported as missing.

Joan Evelyn White was last seen at around 3am yesterday at the Tesco store at Inshes, Inverness.

Ms White is described as 5ft 7" in height and of large build with grey-brown short hair.

When last seen, she was wearing a purple coloured fleece jacket, white blouse, dark navy trousers and white training shoes. She was carrying a brown handbag.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "We're anxious to trace Joan and would appreciate any help members of the public can provide."
