Missing man safe and well say cops

A TAIN man reported missing has been traced safe and well, police said today (Monday) in a statement.

Paul MacFarlane (21) was traced in the Inverness area last night (Sunday).

Ross-shire police had raised the alarm over Mr MacFarlane on Friday last week.

He had been last seen in Tain on Tuesday, February 7 at around 5pm.

Police said concern had been raised for his wellbeing.

They thanked members of the public for their assistance.
