Champion Stags to begin Bowl defence

Ross Sutherland get their competitive season under way with the opening round of their National Bowl defence in Invergordon on Saturday.

Last season the Stags won their regional Caledonia North Bowl, before going on to triumph in the National Bowl final at Murrayfield.

This time round they start their campaign against North Police Scotland who are newcomers in Ross Sutherland’s league after winning promotion from Caledonia Division Three North.

Stags head coach John Mann says that it is something of a novelty to be kicking things off in knockout competition, but thinks his side are as ready as they can be for it.
