Bella Tickets Scam Warning
NEXT month's sell out Belladrum Festivl has attracted the attention of con-artists, organisers are warning.
"People have been duped into giving money to ticket scammers on Gumtree, Facebook etc.," a festival spokesman warned.
"If you are seeking to buy tickets for Bella in the secondary market, do not hand over any money until you have the tickets in your hands, and you are satisfied they are genuine (both ticket and counterfoil there; hologram etc).
"Where possible, you should use a ticket in your possession to compare them with. Your safest way of buying tickets is via Skiddle’s electronic ticket returns."
Tickets for this year's Belladrum Festival on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th August have now sold out in all categories.
Unwanted e-tickets can be returned via Skiddle for a full refund.
Just call Richard on 0843 289 3333 or email support@skiddle.com. Please note Skiddle can only refund full orders. If you have a spare ticket, for example one person out of your group cannot attend then please call them to discuss your options.
If there are returns Skiddle will re-issue the first batch of these on-line only on a first come, first served basis at the same price.
"If you have been a victim of ticket fraud via Facebook then please report it to them," the spokesman added.
"It is limited what can be done but absolutely nothing can be done against these people if you don't report anything."
