Inverness date for Dave Pearce

DANCE music pioneer Dave Pearce heads for Inverness Ironworks on Saturday, January 26.

Tickets are on sale now for the night with the man once called "the people's DJ".

Dave originated the idea for Radio One's iconic Dance Anthems show and other feats include selling over a million compilation albums, presenting shows on BBC's Radio One, BBC Radio Two and BBC 6 Music and still performing in clubs across the world.

Dave is known for his love of trance and electronic dance music (EDM) which is represented by his Dave Pearce Trance Anthems album now - plus many more top 10 entries.

He hosts a weekly podcast Trancecast featuring new music on iTunes, showcasing up-nd-coming producers and DJs from across the world.

Summer 2012 saw Dave return to one of Europe's biggest superclubs BCM in Mallorca, the Greek Islands and Tenerife.

Dave originally left the BBC to join dance radio station KISS, becoming their Drivetime presenter and later breakfast show presenter.

But he returned to the BBC to take on a range of shows, including the early breakfast show before landing creating Dance Anthems which ran for 11 years.
