Cowie amazed by progress in County set-up

Don Cowie says that Ross County feels like a different club from the one he left 11 years ago, but he has had no issues settling back in to life in Dingwall.

Since leaving the Staggies, Cowie went on to play in England for Watford, Cardiff City and Wigan Athletic, picking up 10 Scotland caps before returning north of the border.

But after being told he could leave Hearts this summer, Cowie decided to return to the club where he started his senior career.

"I’ve been here for just over a week now and it feels like I’ve never been away," he said.
