Man seriously injured in attack by e-bike riders
Detectives are hunting two e-bike riders after a man was seriously injured in an incident being treated as attempted murder.
The 36-year-old victim was taken to hospital after the incident in Paisley, Renfrewshire, on Thursday.
The assault happened at around 4.45pm on Murray Street, close to the junction with Greenhills Road.
The victim was approached by two men riding electric bikes and dressed in dark clothing, who then attacked him.
The attackers fled after the assault and emergency services attended the scene.
Detective Constable Stephen Solomon said: “Extensive inquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of this incident and I would appeal to anyone who was in the area around this time to contact us.
“We are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed anything. In addition, there may have been passing vehicles with dashcam footage so I would urge anyone that can assist to please come forward.”
